Kathy has acquired a unique perspective using her abilities to see, hear, and feel energy. She has been channeling positive energy for the past 27 yeas as well as clearing negative energy held in the body. She also coaches those working within the energetic and spiritual field.

Kathy has also been teaching Ballroom, Swing, Latin, and Zone Dancing for over 20 years. She was acknowledged as "Chicago's Best Dance Instructor" by "Chicago Magazine"

Missed Classes and Make-Ups:

If you are going to miss a class, please call the office immediately at 312-666-6682 so that we may inform the Instructor. If you notify the office in advance (24 hours), you can make up your class within the current 5 weeks session. The missed class must be confirmed with your class Instructor AND the Instructor you will be making up the class with. (Subject to Instructor approval.)

Refunds:

We will gladly offer a credit toward another class in the following session. Refunds will be given only after office approval minus $15 for each class taken. An additional $5 processing fee will be deducted if a credit card was used to pay.

PHYSICAL ENERGY

Dance and music create a great source of energy and at the same time establish a healthy, fun and social environment.

By exploring the energy source through movement we can become skilled at focusing and directing its flow through the body.

By understanding how energy works and how it is an intricate part of who we are, we can see in a tangible way how each of us energetically interact with others and how others respond to us.

By learning a combination of movements through different dances we begin to open, clear and strengthen our energy systems. Music is a strong conduit to releasing stagnant energy and revitalizing the body.

Once we begin to see the power of thought put to movement, we begin to understand the ability we have to implement transformation in our day-to-day life.

PSYCHOLOGICAL ENERGY

The Psychological perspective is the relationship we hold first with ourselves and then with the outside world.

By altering and recombining the elements of our perception with others, we can uncover unforeseen possibilities. This generates healthy communities and alliances.

Within any powerful relationship, personal, social, or business there is a unique connection that is created by a genuine sharing of self.

SPIRITUAL ENERGY

The Spiritual realm is a world without defense or offense. A world of not giving or taking - but sharing. A perspective where all of us can reclaim our place as a unique spiritual being.

The responsibility we hold consciously or unconsciously is to share our inner truths by expressing our dreams, passions, and desires. It is only when we come from the perspective of defense and offense, judgment and rightousness that we are diluting ourselves. We can be truly at peace when we find our own unique balance with giving and taking, a true sharing of ourselves..

Coming from a universal perspective there is room for all levels of learning. knowledge and growth come in stages. Each one of us continually changes our perspective through years of experiences. Let us have the patience to allow others the same magnificent experience. Sometimes we must realize who we are not - to remember who we are.

The ultimate is standing in our own power without doubt or fear - being the fullness of self and sharing it with others.

A GIFT OF ENERGY

The gift of energy is at everyone's disposal to create whatever is desired. If one does not consciously direct this gift, one is creating its experiences unconsciously and may not be receiving the desired results.

However, in the moments when the intellectual, psychological, physical, emotional, and spiritual all come into balance there is a feeling of great harmony and joy. One might call them moments of enlightenment - "self-crystallization" - a reality worth living.

INTELLECTUAL ENERGY

The Intellectual is the forum in which we analyze past, present and future events. Our earthly mind creates from the small picture while our universal mind creates from the big picture. Our challenge is the balancing of the two, free-flowing energy within a structure.

The universal mind is where ones dreams, passions, and desires are conceived, first taking root in the energetic world. Yet, the universal mind has limitations; without the implementation through a structural process, it will never come to fruition and exist in physical reality.

So, we activate the earthly mind to create step-by-step processes to accomplish this. Everything in physical reality must have a foundation, which is created by structure. Yet, the earthly mind also has its limitations: The limitation of the earthly mind is that it only creates from what is already proven in the rational realm.

We need the universal mind to imagine what is possible and the earthly mind to create the structural integrity, creating a firm hold in rational reality.

To truly have balance in life, one must have one foot solidly planted on the ground and one foot flying freely in endless possibilities.

EMOTIONAL ENERGY

The Emotional perspective is the expression of ‘self’. We come into this world with a cry of life. We feel for the first time what it is like to breathe in the human experience. Through emotion, we perceive our boundaries within the human form.

Emotion is energy flowing within the body. When we are allowed to fully express, it is euphoric. When we are stifled in our expression, it is painful. Emotion is the outward expression of how your energy is flowing or not flowing through the body. Through expression, ones ‘Self’, is in continual transformation.
